The altarpiece of the church-cathedral of La Redonda is a truly outstanding piece of work in which traditional Flemish cabinetmaking and Italian perspective join hands. The altarpiece belongs to the final stage of Nordic altarpiece manufacture. The sheer quality of the altarpiece's decoration makes a visit to the church in La Rioja entirely worthwhile.
