The unusual dimensions of the conserved scenes, together with the manner in which the reliefs are distributed, are two of the most noteworthy features of this altarpiece that appears to be in a good state of conservation and which has undergone several important interventions, particularly as far as the first level is concerned. Apart from what we have already mentioned, details, such as the supports of the stable, do not seem to correspond to the original work, neither is the polychrome decoration the original.
