RELIEF OF SCENES FROM THE LIFE OF THE VIRGIN

The five Cifuentes reliefs, which date from mid-XV century, are fine examples of altarpieces manufactured in Brussels. They illustrate different scenes from the life of the Holy Virgin Mary. Unfortunately, the architectural elements framing the altarpiece and some of its figures covered in re-polychrome Baroque decoration have disappeared.
