RELIEFS OF THE DESCENT OF THE CROSS AND THE FLAGELATION

SUPPORT AND ELABORATION 

Carved wood. The original wood of which the altarpiece was made cannot be accessed since the group of figures has been attached to a later frame with imitation Gothic tracery. The polychrome redecoration also completely hides the sides.   

The only noteworthy element is the way the wood has been scored to create an irregular surface representing a grassy landscape.
