THE PASSION ALTARPIECE

In spite of the many alterations to which the altarpiece has been subjected to and its rather poor quality, several manufacturing characteristics of workshops in Brussels during the second half of the XV century may be observed in the altarpiece conserved in Lekeitio. Stamps verifying this origin were also discovered in the course of this project.
