ALTARPIECE OF THE INFANCY OF CHRIST

The triptych conserved in the vestry of the parish church of Santibañez-Zarzaguda is one of the very first examples of the kind of works imported into Castile from Flemish workshops. Consequently, despite the fact that part of its architectural decoration is missing, the altarpiece is still of outstanding interest on account of its very unusual format.
