Wooden main frame with carved group of figures incorporated into the predella of the neo-Gothic altarpiece of Santo Cristo (1917-18).
The work is flanked by pillars crowned by figures and canopies whose origins are uncertain. A concave moulding decorated with carved rosettes attached by wooden dowels surround the work. Two side panels with tracery windows converge towards the rear, completing the front panels. The group of articulated figures are made from several independent wooden blocks of apparently considerable dimensions.
The wood surface representing Mount Golgotha is scored at regular intervals in imitation of rough terrain.
