The document reflecting the donation of the pillar by the Chapter in 1558 is still conserved (AHPA, sig 24278, doc. 1) in addition to other references regarding work undertaken in 1815 after the Spanish War of Independence and work carried out in 1846 by Pedro de Valdivielso (AHPA, sig 24282, doc. 4, page 88 r and doc. 10 pages 2r and 8r).
