A radially shaped altarpiece manufactured from excellent quality oak. Rear surfaces present marks made by different saws, chisels and gouges in addition to symbols carved with a Sloyd knife. The largest size panels comprise the lower and top sections of the predella (218 x 24 cm and 210 x 24 cm). The size of the panels in individual recesses or compartments does not exceed 130 cm.

Each of these compartments stands completely independently. They are, however, assembled together by a multiple assembly system using route dovetails strengthened additionally with joining plugs, tonguing and grooving and mortise and tenon joints.
The different decorative elements were nailed inside each compartment. Groups of sculptures comprising several figures were joined together using animal glue and nails.
