As far as the work's general conception and decorative repertoire are concerned, it may be compared to other examples manufactured between 1550 and 1560 in the workshops of Antwerp such as those made by Gedinne, Bouvignes (both in Belgium), Ricey-Bas II (France), Annone Brianza (Italy), Tendilla (Guadalajara, now in the Cincinnati Art Museum) and Roskilde (Denmark).
